Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by children: Betty Morris, Linda Keyser and Jimmy Keyser daughter-in-law, Norma Keyser sister: Betty Galbraith two brothers: Lloyd Pinner and Tom Pinner and four grandchildren. He was a tremendous people person, who always had a gift for meeting people he didn’t know and talking to everyone that he did know. He spent many years as a member at the Eagle Lodge in Holdrege and was also a member of the Elks Lodge and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge. John never met a yard sale that he didn’t like. John loved fishing and hunting, watching the Huskers, attending auctions and playing poker. On Jhe was united in marriage to Helen Bernice Keyser in Holdrege. On Octohe was united in marriage to Eileen Nash and to this union six children were born: David, Linda, Joe, Sandi, Carol and Randy. He then worked in the KN Energy pipe yards in Holdrege for 13 years until his retirement in 1992.

John was employed as a truck driver for various companies. John received his education at Sterling, Colorado. John was born on Novemin Leaders, Colorado, the second of six children born to Elmer Eugene and Gladys Emela (Ilgen) Pinner. John David Pinner, 84 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Sunday, Octoat his home in Holdrege. Following the traditional funeral the family will honor John’s wish for cremation and a private family inurnment will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery at a later date. Pinner will be conducted from Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska on Friday, Octoat 10:30 a.m.
